Happiness and Focus

The New York Times recently reported that one surprising key to happiness is “focus.” Harvard researchers discovered this surprising key to happiness.
The good news for you is that when you “focus” on your job search you are literally making yourself happier. If you "focus" on any activity, researching the internet for job opportunities, e-mailing your friends and letting them know you are looking for your next great position, whatever you are doing, when you "focus" you are making yourself happier.
This is great news! If you "focus" it helps to keep you out of feeling depressed if you are out of work.
The news is simple, yet profound. Focus on whatever you are doing in the moment and you help to create for yourself a greater sense of happiness and well-being.
Bob and I wish you the best in your job search. Make sure your job search documents are the best they can be. This is not the time to use resume templates or let your best friend, neighbor, cousin or family member write your resume. Stand out from the crowd and shine. Make sure your resume, cover letter and other job search documents catch the eye of your potential new employer. It's never been more important.
